Park Street Christmas Carnival – All You Need To Know

Christmas is just round the corner and we all know what this means! The Park Street Christmas Carnival is here.
Here are some things which you can brag knowing about to your friends about the much awaited carnival.

The Park Street Christmas Carnival has been split into two halves this time. It will be inaugurated on December 22 and continue just till the next day. The Park Street Christmas Carnival will resume on December 26 and go on till December 30.

The elaborate show is possible only after the combined efforts of West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation, KMC, Kolkata Police. All the ace institutions of the city get together to make the Park Street Christmas Carnival a success.

Food and shows

More than 35 Food Stalls offering a variety of delicacies. Food stalls will be put up inside Allan Park and on the stretch of pavement between Flurys and Allan Park and the same on the opposite side.

There is supposed to be a musical parade by school children. The Police Band and the Army Band are also expected to stage a performance. Also, there will be musical performances every night inside the premises of Allen Park at the Park Street Christmas Carnival.

The permanent lights that lead up to the Middleton Row crossing will be switched on by 18 December 2017.

The lights – which are installed by the tourism department – will be on for a longer period this time. Usually, they are taken off by the second week of January. But this time we expect them to be on till at least January 20 at the Park Street Christmas Carnival.
